Our long-running series, Fundamentals of Cataloging, is restarting with our Introduction and Basic Description sessions.  We cover core cataloging concepts and processes while demonstrating how to catalog our most numerous resource—books!  If you’re new to cataloging or could use an RDA-friendly refresher, this introductory material provides a solid foundation for our other cataloging training sessions.  To fit with your schedule and learning preferences, we’re pleased to offer this material in two formats.  Click the links listed below for more information and registration options for each sessions.

In-Person
There are just a few days left to sign up to attend OhioNET’s day-long, in-person version of Introduction & Basic Description!  If you think you might benefit from some hands-on time in a small-group, face-to-face setting to increase your comfort with common copy cataloging tasks, then sign up today.  Space is limited.

Web-Based
If online learning is your best option, we offer the same content in a convenient web-based format that allows you to learn right from your desk.  Each two-hour webinar in the series features real-time quizzes, practice time, and other interactive tools.  All registrants for each session will receive a link to an archived recording of the webinar within 24-hours of broadcast.
