[OPLINLIST] Home Brewing Workshop/class and taste testing

Has anyone offered a home brewing workshop/class? What about a taste testing of home beers to go with it?

If so, what worked? what didn't?

How long was the program? What was taught/discussed? Did you offer more than 1 session to cover all the basics?

Was your instructor a well-informed amateur or someone who has now made it a business?

Did you limit it age wise? Did you card?

Did you have to get special permission from your city/municipality to offer either the class or the taste testing? One-time license?

Any information, suggestions, dos and don'ts, you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
