[OPLINLIST] Fwd: Recording Notary Transactions

Just curious, but since Notaries are functioning as an officer of the court
(and not the library), are we even allowed to collect and maintain such
granular information?

How would this file of interact with the patron confidentiality laws in
Ohio?

Just asking because it seems like such a gray area.
