Library Ideas, LLC would like to invite all interested libraries to join us at the Euclid Public Library on Wednesday, September 26 from 2–4 PM for a “Demo Day” to discuss new formats growing legs at libraries all over the United States. Topics discussed will be:

  *   VOX Books:  Print meet audio for your early readers.  Keeping the physical book intact is supremely important for early readers and VOX simplifies this by permanently attaching the reader to the print book.  There’s no need for computers, tablets, or CDs!  No more hanging bags and all the child (or parent) needs to do is push a button to listen and read.  Our publishing list will blow you away with titles like Jabari Jumps, Goodnight Moon, Beekle, Hey Black Child, and Click, Clack, Moo: Cows that Type.  We are committed to a to a publishing list of 12 new titles per quarter with a focus on fiction titles.

  *   GoChip Beam:  Want NEW movies to stream?  They aren’t available anywhere else in the public library market other than this exciting new product that not only allows the library to get new titles, but allows your patrons to stream the content WITHOUT INTERNET.  It is a hotspot for watching high quality TV and movies without effort.  Are DVDs a high circulating item at libraries? Yes.  Are DVDs a dying format?  Also YES.  Something has to give and it’s time for the library to plan for not only the future without DVD, but also fill that demand NOW for popular streaming content.

  *   Freegal Music: Featuring a brand new mobile app, a new website design, and millions more songs since you last took a look.  Freegal Music is now a product that should be a core service the library provides.  Library budgets are getting killed with the pay-per-use model.  Freegal Music is different.
