[cid:image004.png at 01D4EEC6.1DBABE60]The State Library's Guiding Ohio Online<https://library.ohio.gov/services-for-libraries/library-programs-development/guiding-ohio-online/> program, which targets populations in rural Ohio, helps Ohioans develop digital skills needed to fully participate in the digital age. Applications are now being accepted for public libraries to host a Guiding Ohio Online Technology Trainer. Trainers will serve in selected libraries during the program year, October 1, 2019-September 30, 2020.

Applications and Proposed Budget Forms for Guiding Ohio Online can be found here<https://library.ohio.gov/services-for-libraries/library-programs-development/guiding-ohio-online/#Apply> and are due May 17, 2019.

A list of current and former libraries participating in Guiding Ohio Online is available on our website at library.ohio.gov/services-for-libraries/library-programs-development/guiding-ohio-online/<https://library.ohio.gov/services-for-libraries/library-programs-development/guiding-ohio-online/>. Here's what one library had to say about their experience as a Guiding Ohio Online host:

"The Guiding Ohio Online grant is a blessing for us. Through it, we were able to hire someone who is able to teach technology to our patrons. It also pays the majority of her salary." Tami Morehart, Director, Wagnalls Memorial Library

"The Wagnalls Memorial Library is now in its fifth year of the Guiding Ohio Online program, and its impact on our community cannot be understated. Through the funding that allows us to have a dedicated tech tutor, we are able to offer programs and assist patrons one-on-one in ways that we couldn't dream of five years ago: everything from job hunting to ghost hunting." Emily McClay, Patron Service Manager, Wagnalls Memorial Library
