[OPLINLIST] FREE teen Summer Reading workshop - Friday, March 1 in Columbus

You are invited to a FREE librarian-led workshop on planning and producing a teen summer library/reading program. The workshop will be held Friday, March 1 from 10:00 am - 4:15 pm (check-in starts at 9:30) at the State Library of Ohio, 274 E. First Ave. in Columbus. A certificate of attendance will be available.

Tentative agenda:
9:30- Registration/Check in
10:00-Welcome and introductions
10:15-11:00 - Programing with food
11:00-11:30- Reading Logs/ Prizes
11:30-12:30- LUNCH
12:30-1:15 Escape Room
1:15-1:45- Space Themed Booklist
1:45-2:00- Break
2:00-2:45-VolunTeens
2:45-3:30- Paint Night
3:30-4:00- Idea Share
4:00-4:15- Wrap Up and Evaluations

Lunch is on-your-own. There are a handful of eateries within a 5-10 minute walk and dozens within a 5-10 minute drive. You're also welcome to brown-bag it, or order pizza or box lunches to be brought in.

Don't miss this opportunity to brainstorm and collaborate with your teen services allies and craft a great program for summer 2019. You could get most of your planning done in one day!
