[OPLINLIST] Ohio Association of Foodbanks Seeking Applications to Host AmeriCorps VISTA Summer Associates

The Ohio Association of Foodbanks is now seeking applications from organizations throughout Ohio interested in hosting AmeriCorps VISTA Summer Associate(s) for 8 to 9 weeks in summer 2019!
AmeriCorps VISTA Summer Associates work full-time for 8 to 9 weeks, often to provide direct and/or indirect service to help summer meals programs for hungry children. This capacity building resource can help you recruit volunteers, serve meals, implement programming, raise funds, and much more. Interested? Here are the steps you can take to prepare your application to be a VISTA Summer Associate host site:

  *   Closely review pages 1-3 of the Host Site Application<http://ohiofoodbanks.org/nationalservice/2019-20/Summer-Associate-Host-Site-Application-2019.pdf>, which includes instructions about how to complete your application.
  *   Complete pages 4-13 of the Host Site Application<http://ohiofoodbanks.org/nationalservice/2019-20/Summer-Associate-Host-Site-Application-2019.pdf> and submit it by email to Maureen Allen<mailto:mallen at ohiofoodbanks.org> no later than February 8, 2019. Please save the file to your computer before editing it or your changes will be lost.
