Starting range $15.58 - $20.77/ hour

Ideal applicant should understand public libraries and library users, have
experience producing written content, photographing people and events and
thinking creatively. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
and to successfully meet deadlines essential.



DUTIES:

The Communications Coordinator is responsible for updating and maintaining
the library system’s website content, social media, digital newsletters
such as Constant Contact, and designing both traditional and digital media
ads, flyers, pamphlets and more for library services. They are also
responsible for photographing specified library events and take photographs
in and outside the buildings to use in library communications.



REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree preferred; knowledge of public library philosophy,
services and functions; demonstrated skills in writing, graphic design and
photography. Knowledge and experience in working with Microsoft Office
Suite, Canva, Constant Contact and relevant social media.
