Ritter Public Library is seeking a full-time Adult Services Manager.  As a member of the management team, the ideal candidate will collaborate with other staff to provide exceptional programming. As the lead team member of Adult Services, this person will help maintain the library’s online calendar and website, coordinate adult programming and manage the use of the library’s meeting room spaces. He or she will participate in professional organizations and community events as a library representative.

Qualifications: Three years of supervisory experience is required, preferably in a union environment.  Candidates will possess a Master’s in Library and Information Science from an ALA accredited institution. The Adult Services Manager must be proficient in Microsoft Office, have a basic working knowledge of Drupal and SIRSI experience is preferred.

Ritter Public Library is a school district library, established in 1918 by the Vermilion Board of Education.  Today the library, a member of CLEVNET, serves approximately 14,543 local residents.  Located on Lake Erie, 45 minutes from downtown Cleveland, Vermilion is a community with a summer population that brings greater numbers into the building.  The library is open 7 days a week and provides meeting spaces and programs for many.

A starting salary range of $43,500 to $45,000 - negotiable depending on experience –will accompany a competitive benefits package.
