[OPLINLIST] Online ACT Crash Course for your patrons - please share!

Worthington Libraries, in partnership with Dr. Srinath Sampath of PrepAccelerator, (PrepAccelerator website<http://prepaccelerator.com/> ) is offering a free, ACT Crash Course online. These sessions typically fill up quickly, so promote this to your patrons today!



Dr. Sampath (Dr. Sampath bio<http://prepaccelerator.com/about/>) has received extremely positive feedback about his workshops and rising ACT scores have given parents and students proof that these sessions can make a world of difference to their college prospects.



Please note registrants do not have to be library patrons or Ohio residents.



Feel free to inform interested parties about this workshop via any or all of the following:

  2.  Website post
  3.  Email to partner high school principals and guidance counselors
  4.  Email to patrons, especially parents

ACT CRASH COURSE

Date: Friday, April 9

Time: 4:30-9:30pm ONLINE Eastern

For: Grades 9-12

Cost: FREE

Length: 4 hours of online instruction (plus a 30-minute break midway and a 30-minute Q&A with parents and students at the end).

Registration Deadline: 11:55 pm, Wednesday, April 7, 2021.

Content: For each of the 5 ACT sections, attendees will rapidly work out and discuss retired ACT questions in a timed setting.

Have on hand: A calculator, pens/pencils and a notebook.

Complexity/Pace: This is a fast-paced, rigorous and intensive crash course. Dr. Sampath will analyze a variety of ACT questions from simple to complex.
SAT/PSAT: Students have utilized this course to improve their SAT performance as well.
