A Note From the Executive Director
[https://neo-rls.org/photos/81676_11022021091152.jpg]Prior to coming to work for NEO-RLS in November 2021, I was a frequent user of NEO-RLS services. I attended countless webinars and in-person events, I reserved book discussion and technology kits for my library, and I served on the Marketing/PR Advisory Group. I thought I had a fairly good idea of the value that NEO-RLS offers to libraries and library staff in our region. However, after spending the last several months working alongside the amazing NEO-RLS staff, I realize that the potential reach of our programs and services far exceeds what I could have imagined. I am grateful for the opportunity to step into the Executive Director role and continue the exceptional work of my predecessor and the NEO-RLS staff while also working to expand our offerings to better serve our members. As I settle into my new role, I would love to hear from you! Please feel free to reach out to me at ragan.snead at neo-rls.org <https://mms.neo-rls.org/ct.php?lid=62982781&nr=6301834127> and let me know what you would like to see from NEO-RLS in the next year and beyond. I look forward to working with all of you to maximize library potential!

Want to Help?
From Amy Olson, Janet Ingraham Dwyer's counterpart at the Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives, about the impact of the catastrophic flooding on KY libraries:

We know that Knott (water was up to the middle of their door) and Perry County public libraries were flooded. Another county lost their roof and no word yet on the inside structure. Quite a few counties have flooding in their basements or minor flooding in general. Again, they’re still waiting to get inside to see all the damage. One director lost their car. Basically as time progresses we’re learning more.
