[OPLINLIST] Full-time Library Associate II position Minerva Public Library

Are you energetic, forward-thinking, and patron-focused, with an interest
in working with young library patrons?  Then it’s time for you to think
about joining the Minerva Public Library Youth Services team.  This
position is essential to the success of a very busy department serving
children, educators, and caregivers.  This position shares responsibility
for planning library story times, as well as creating, promoting, and
executing programs for children and their caregivers.

The Library’s Youth Services Department works closely with the Minerva
Local Schools District, area private schools, and homeschoolers, providing
weekly class visits, as well as weekly story times, numerous special
programs, and an engaged summer reading program.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree with a
focus on education, and demonstrated successful experience in library
service to children, or a combination of educational programs and
experience demonstrating success working with groups of children, and
knowledge of children’s literature and materials.

            This is a full-time (40 hour week) position with excellent paid
leave and insurance benefits, and a base wage of $13.97 an hour.    A
