The Wilmington Public Library, serving a population of roughly 25,000 across half of Clinton County is looking for a new Assistant Director to help lead the organization into a new and patron focused future.  New and up-coming initiatives already in the works include a self-service village library and close collaboration with the local library at a nearby college. Hours:        Full-time, 40 hours per week, may include some weekends and evenings 





Benefits:    Salary $50,000 - $55,000 

Individual and family health insurance

Public defined benefit retirement system 

Paid sick, vacation and person time

11 paid holidays per year

Paid parental leave is on the board agenda for the September board meeting  





Minimum qualifications:      Master’s degree in Library Science 

4 or more years of library work experience, preferably in a public library setting

2 or more years of supervisory experience, preferably in a public library setting
