What Our Members are Saying About the Salary Survey

“The data we gleaned from the 2021 NEO-RLS Salary Survey was invaluable in helping ACDL to determine what constituted fair and competitive wages for our staff. The comprehensive survey results allowed us to create a customized approach to data analysis, giving us confidence in our decision-making.”

A Note from the Executive Director
[https://neo-rls.org/photos/77535_07122021102302.jpg]In the almost six years that I have been at NEO-RLS, I have written a weekly newsletter Note. The Notes have varied in length, subject and, yes, even in quality. There are the weeks when I have read something that I want to bring to your attention, the weeks when I want to tell you what is happening at NEO-RLS, and the weeks when I want to share something that has occurred. There have also been the weeks when I have racked my brain for something to write and have come up with very little. All told, I have written approximately 300 Notes. That’s a lot of Notes, especially considering that I never realized it would be something I would be doing on a regular basis. Occasionally, others write the Note and today, I am writing to ask you to think about writing a Note. Is there something you would like to share? Something that you have been doing, reading or thinking about that you feel would be of interest to others in the region? Email me <https://mms.neo-rls.org/ct.php?lid=57333475&nr=6055860191> if you would like to have your Note in the weekly NEO-RLS newsletter. I would love to hear from you! Together we are maximizing library potential. Have a great week!
