A Note From the
Executive Director

We are pleased to announce that NEO-RLS Staff Day will be held on October 9, 2023, at Lakeland Community College in Kirtland, OH.

The event will feature a keynote speaker, 3-5 breakout sessions, networking opportunities, and dedicated time for library meetings. If staff will be attending from your library, please contact Melissa Lattanzi at lattanzm at neo-rls.org<mailto:lattanzm at neo-rls.org>, no later than May 31st. This will ensure that we can accommodate everyone.

The event’s theme and content will be developed by a planning committee consisting of confirmed attendees; the meeting date and time are TBD. We look forward to a productive and engaging event and we hope you will consider joining us!

Summer Information

Through a collaboration of Ohio’s eight PBS stations, Ohio Learns 360 offers learning resources to summer and afterschool programs for children in K-5th grades. Free “camp-in-a-box” program kits include a week’s worth of activities for 20 students and a facilitator’s guide. You can also book virtual education programs with PBS educators for read-alouds, hands-on activities, and clips from favorite PBS KIDS shows, or access virtual field trips to some of Ohio’s leading museums and science centers.
