For libraries who have undertaken ECF projects for FY2021, Lorrie Germann
has an important reminder about deadlines.  Please note the deadline for
submitting BEAR reimbursement--*August 29 for FY2021*--and the details
below.

Hello ECF Community,

This is a reminder that the deadline to submit ECF BEAR (Form 472)
reimbursement requests for FY 2021 (Windows 1 and 2) is *August 29, 2023*
(with a few exceptions), and there is no extension option. If you received
ECF funding in Window 1 or 2 (FY 2021), please submit your BEAR as soon as
possible if you paid your vendor invoices in full.

If you selected SPI as the invoicing mode when filing the Form 471, but you
realized you paid in full for the equipment or services, submit a
post-commitment request (PCR) in the ECF portal to change the invoicing
method. Currently, PCRs take approximately 6-8 weeks for USAC to process,
but once the change is approved and you receive a revised funding letter,
so must submit the BEAR within 60 days from the date of the letter.
