[OPLINLIST] Delaware County District Library - Branch Manager Posting

Good Afternoon,

The Delaware County District Library has an opening for a full-time Branch
Manager.  This position will oversee the daily functions and operations of
the Orange Branch.

If you think you might be interested in this position, ask yourself a few
questions.  Do you have a strong customer service focus?  Have you
demonstrated an ability to coach and lead customer service staff?  Can you
develop and maintain community partner relationships?  Are you comfortable
speaking publicly in a variety of settings, promoting library services?  Do
you have a track record of leading projects to successful completion?  Have
you previously managed the operations of a large branch?  Do you enjoy
working collaboratively with other departments and branches to fully serve
a diverse county?  If you answered “yes” to most or all of these questions,
we need to talk.

An MLS or MLIS from an ALA-accredited institution is required.  Management
experience, preferably in a public library, with progressive levels of
responsibilities and supervision is required.  This position will include
working mornings, days, evenings, and Saturdays; however, the schedule may
change as the needs of the Library change.  The annual salary range for
this position is $56,269 - $84,404 and will depend on qualifications.  The
Library also offers a generous benefits package.
