Branch Manager - Madge Youtz Branch (Full-time 40 Hours/Week)
Salary (FLSA exempt) Range Min: $59,051.00 annually


Stark Library is seeking a manager for its Madge Youtz Branch which is located on the historic Mahoning corridor and serves the northeastern neighborhoods of Canton city.



The Branch Manager will be responsible for leading their team of library staff members in fulfilling our library's mission to "strengthen the community by advancing literacy, connecting people, and encouraging exploration" while demonstrating our core values of respect, inclusion, stewardship, and progress.   The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with partner organizations and serving a demographically diverse community.



This position offers a community-minded and inclusive work environment, competitive compensation based on relevant experience, as well as generous paid time off including vacation, sick time (accrued at 120 hours/year), 10 paid holidays, and up to 2 floating holidays per year. Youth Librarian, North Branch (Full-time - 40 Hours/Week)
Salary (FLSA exempt) Range Min: $18.55/hour


Stark Library is seeking an outgoing, customer service-oriented MLIS-Credentialed* professional to fill an opportunity as a Youth Librarian at our North Branch.

This position is responsible planning and/or presenting internal and external programs for children and teens, including story times for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. Additional responsibilities include participating in and leading promotional activities outside the library, establishing partnerships, developing content and implementing joint services with outside agencies, managing assigned collection areas and working with the Branch Manager in all aspects of collections, merchandising, and maintenance.

Successful candidates will enjoy working with children of all ages and have proven knowledge and experience with collection material and outreach services suited for the needs of youth/teens/young adults within our service areas.
