[OPLINLIST] Reading Dragons and Friends: Gamify Your Reading Program

Hey everyone,
I have been running the Reading Dragons and Friends for 5 years at the
Dover Public Library. I wanted to invite you to use the Reading Dragons
because I receive a lot of positive feedback from families and other
libraries using the Reading Dragons. It encourages kids to read what they
enjoy without penalizing them based on skill level, and helps them build a
habit of reading regularly, 30 minutes at a time.

The Reading Dragons is a *free* program that you can run at your library.
The goal of this program is to get kids involved with the library, create a
habit of reading regularly, and have fun. Readers are rewarded with
collectable playable cards that were created by library staff just like you.

program is for public and school libraries, and is free to use.

This program has grown beyond the scope of Dover Ohio, and has been
accessed by over 200 libraries in the US and abroad. It is a collaborative
program that allows for libraries to create and contribute cards and
programming ideas to benefit everyone using the Reading Dragons and Friends.
