A Note From the
Executive Director

As October comes to a close, we’d like to update you on our planning for the 2025-2026 membership year (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026). Last week, we sent out Letters of Intent, which are essential to our January budgeting process for the July-June fiscal year. Early responses allow us to allocate resources effectively, shape programming, and provide the highest quality of service across our region.

If you didn’t receive your library’s Letter of Intent or need another copy, contact Ragan Snead at ragan.snead at neo-rls.org<mailto:ragan.snead at neo-rls.org>. We kindly ask for all Letters of Intent by December 31, 2024. Your continued membership sustains a robust calendar of continuing education and valuable services for libraries throughout our community.

We were so glad to see Wellsville Carnegie Public Library's Facebook post<https://mms.neo-rls.org/ct.php?lid=334215457&mm=108130015101> about their young patrons enjoying the Ozobot Classroom Kit! Here's what they said:

"Today the kids had an opportunity to learn about programming using 12 Ozobot Evo robots that our library is able to rent through Northeast Ohio Regional Library System (NEO-RLS)<https://mms.neo-rls.org/ct.php?lid=334216679&mm=108130015101> . Ozobots can be programmed either with coding on a tablet or laptop, or by using special combinations of colors with marker on white paper. Today we focused on coding using the markers. It's exciting to watch the robots move, light up, and dance to your own program!"
