Are you looking for ways to make your library more inclusive? This year’s workshop will be taking place virtually on Friday, November 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. The workshop will be recorded and sent out to registrants after the event. 10:00-11:30- Voices from the Stacks: Staff Perspectives on Accessibility and Inclusion
This session will be from the perspective of library staff with disabilities. They will share their experiences and ways libraries can improve accessibility and inclusion for staff.
11:30-12:30- Lunch Break
12:30-2:00- Voices from the Stacks: Management Perspectives on Accessibility and Inclusion
This session will be from the perspective of library management who are already focusing on creating a more accessible and inclusive environment for their staff.
2:00-2:15- Break
2:15-3:15- Inclusive Volunteering
During this presentation we will focus on working with volunteers with disabilities and ways to make your volunteer tasks more inclusive.
