[OPLINLIST] Laptops for public use

Hi All,

We have a set of laptops that we are planning to allow patrons to use within the building, when we are not using them for programs. We are looking for information from other libraries that offer this to inform our procedure. If your library offers this, could you share your procedure? Do you have the laptops cataloged so that they are checked out to patron cards? Do you hold the user's ID at the desk until they return the laptop? Have you had any issues with offering laptops this way?
