[OPLINLIST] Audio collections

We’ve been pulling apart any audio that doesn’t sell and using the discs for
storytime crafts. We’ve made rainbow fish refrigerator magnets and CD
suncatchers. Last Christmas we made a Christmas mouse. We’ll eventually use
them all.

We donate some to the county home or similar places, but really don’t know
what to do with the rest.

What is everyone doing with weeded audiobooks that don't sell in books

I am phasing them out as they appear on the weeding list and am no longer
purchasing new audiobooks. 

Two years ago, I made a display comparing the different types of audiobooks,
and polled patrons about their preferred audiobook format. Libby/Hoopla were
strongly preferred over physical audiobooks. I don't think I saved the
survey results, unfortunately.
