We also use the TSC barcode printer from Bayscan, along with the ink and lables rolls, and I have never had any issues with our labels fading; I do cover the spine label with tape.

I have been using these printers from Bayscan for spine labels since 2006, so at a few different jobs.



These are thermal transfer printers, you have to buy the film and the labels.  The labels and film come on rolls.  In the past we had a two piece label, one for the card pocket in a book and one for the spine. Here we only do the spine label.



We love these printers.



My current library is a member of SEO so the setup was done by SEO support. I think we have had these since before COVID.
