Rhodes) of the customer connections to the new Columbus Core Network.
Completed Maintenance:
June 4, 2006 - Summary of Work Performed
On Sunday, June 4, between 1 PM and 5 PM we planned to move a number of
T1 customers from older routers located in the Rhodes State Office Tower
to a new router. Due to hardware problems (card and spare were bad) we
were unable to complete most of this work. After reviewing our spares
we decided that the router we had planned to use would not provide the
level of service that our customers expect. Therefore we are going to
swap out this router with an even newer one. This work will be
performed on Tuesday, June 13 and Saturday, June 24.
Migrated T1 customers from older routers located in the Rhodes State
Office Tower.
OIT engineers migrated customers to the new Columbus Core Network.
