Office of Information Technology Customer Update - January 19, 2007

CBRE Technical Services SOCC UPS Upgrade:
Sunday, January 21, 2007 : 12:00am - 9:00am

The following is a schedule of events that will occur on Sunday, January
21, 2007 pertaining to the UPS System Upgrades at the State of Ohio
Computer Center.  The intent of this phase of the project is to complete
all work necessary to energize the two new modules and put them on-line
in a load sharing arrangement with the existing systems.

00:00:   Start all emergency generators and transfer the SOCC from AEP
utility power onto the generators.

00:20 - 00:30:   Place both UPS systems into complete bypass mode and
shut down the UPS systems entirely.  The SOCC's computer systems will be
powered directly by the generators. 

00:30 - 01:30:  Cochran Electric will complete final 480 volt wiring
connections.

01:30 - 06:30:  Liebert personnel will be conducting tests, completing
control wiring and calibrating all UPS equipment in preparation to go
on-line at 06:30.

06:50 - 07:00:  SOCC will be transferred from generators onto AEP
utility power.

07:00 - 09:00:  Liebert personnel will conduct on-line calibrations and
final inspections.


AT&T Scheduled Maintenance: 
Monday, January 22, 2007 : 4:00am

AT&T will be performing preventative maintenance on the N69DS2 SOMACS
backbone ring.  There will be a maximum of 15-20 minutes of down time.

Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections


Ohio Customer Service & Security Center - After Hour Service Escalation
Procedure

Effective immediately, the following after hour (Monday through Friday,
5:00pm - 7:00am and Weekends) escalation list should be utilized when
service related matters need to be brought to the attention of UNS-NA
management.

Customers should wait a minimum of 30 minutes before attempts are made
to contact the next level of support
