[OPLINTECH] Q for Overdrive libraries about request notices

We are in the midst of a "soft opening" for Overdrive audio books and
eBooks, and it's mainly working very well.  

 

We have found that their request notices notifying patrons that a book
is ready for checkout have addresses set up so that the message
originates at overdrive.com but on the message has the From: address be
the support address of our library.  I can understand why they would
want this, but we are getting returns from some systems saying this is
not good practice.  Is this happening elsewhere?  How are you dealing
with it?
