[OPLINTECH] Network Slowness?

I think it was more of an ISP not networking problem. There was 4 or 5
libraries having the problem on similar days.

General local cache may help with various updates.
Chad (Level9 Network) configured our IPcop Firewall with Update Accelerator.

It caches updates for MS, Linux, Adobe, Apple, Symantec, Avast, Trend Micro,
etc. locally.
Currently has 5.1GB
Usually close to 50GB but I was bored last week and purged it down to what
was used in last 3 months.
We probably won't miss any windows 95, 98, etc. updates.

Takes a large load off the external network.

Wellston had slowness most of the day also.
It seemed to perk up in the afternoon, but in downloading M$ patches, I did
think it slowed way down.
 
I attribute mine to some type of network appliance sending out garbage,
possibly soon to be ringing a death knell. I'm just trying to figure out
what it could be.
