[OPLINTECH] Got an unusual question

Several suggested I try a USB keyboard and so I have.  It types normally.  I
suggested he have keyboard checked/ cleaned by repair person.  
Thanks so much for your responses!  Nice to know one does not face the tech
issues of Library life alone.

Since you've already checked  the Accessibility Options and ruled that out
and given the close proximity of those two keys to each other, my first
thought is that they must be shorting out something causing caps lock to be
envoked.

To see if it is the keyboard you could try plugging a USB keyboard into the
laptop and typing on it.  If it continues to do it on the USB keyboard, then
it is likely a software/driver issue.  If it doesn't continue, the laptops
keyboard is highly suspect (IMO).

control panel and it looks like sticky keys and filter keys are shut off.
