Kaden,
I'm curious—did you happen to receive any offlist replies that you could
summarize and share with the list?

Many, many years ago, we tried to encourage staff using circ desk computers
to use their own individual roaming user profiles rather than a generic
circ or staff account. Since most of my libraries have a group of staff
manning circ desks, the inconvenience proved insurmountable. The compromise
was a generic non-roaming staff profile used by any staff member at the
circulation computers. Staff expecting to stay longer and wanting work on
their own projects in a familiar environment have the option to log in with
their own roaming account. Short of *requiring* individual account use via
staff policy and enforcement, this was as good as it ever got. None of my
libraries ever took the step of requiring individual accounts be used. We
suddenly live in a different world, however. So I'm also curious what
others are doing.
