Locking the computer screen when stepping away from the computer could be highly encouraged. If folks get into the habbit of doing that, folks would have to login into the computer with their own account to use it when it is locked. The computer has settings to automaticlaly lock the computer screen after a certain time of inactivity that could be configured to encourage screen locking.

Subject: EXTERNAL: [OPLINTECH] Circulation employee accounts

Caution: This email originated from outside of the organization. Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe.
At our library, employees log in to their accounts at the front desk, and the person working the desk just uses the previous employee's account during their shift. Employees should be using their own accounts during their shift, but employees who drop by to cover the desk temporarily or help at the secondary computer find it annoying and slow to log on and set up the computer to assist. What solutions do other libraries have for this issue? I am not sure how to resolve it within the rules of our cybersecurity policy.
