As many of you know, the Webkits service runs on the Drupal content
management system. Webkits currently run on version 10, which will reach
end of life (EOL) later this year.

Beginning next week, OPLIN will upgrade all Webkits to Drupal 11. *Unlike
previous major upgrades, you should notice few, if any, changes after the
upgrade is complete.* This upgrade is entirely "under the hood" and will
not significantly change the administrative interface or functionality.
Think of it like work being done on a car's engine; it will not change how
the car looks or how you drive it.

When your library's Webkit update is scheduled, we will ask you to pause
adding new content and making changes for a brief time. Sites must be
temporarily static; otherwise, changes will be lost.

   - You will receive a *separate* email, specific to your library,
   detailing the upgrade date.
   - On that date, we ask that you make *no changes* until we notify you
that your Webkit's upgrade is complete.

Please feel free to reach out to me directly with questions. Thank you,

Laura
