[Take 5 logo]Registration is now open<https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Take5_2023> for Take 5: Back to Basics, Friday, May 5, from 9:30 am - 4:30 pm (doors open 9:00) at the newly-renovated Main Library, Warren-Trumbull County Public Library, in Warren, Ohio, "The City of Modern Methods"!

Join other teen advocates for a day of creative approaches, new ideas, collaboration, and network-building. From basic needs to cooking basics, our teens need to be fed, be healthy, be and feel safe and valued, have hope, and have a place where they are welcome. Come explore how we address those needs with allies in and out of the library field.

This year's event will feature:

  *   Keynote talk with the owners of Cockeye BBQ<https://www.cockeyebbq.com/> in Warren about Building Connections in Your Community
  *   Talks, ideas, and inspiration from Full Spectrum Community Outreach<https://www.fullspectrumcommunityoutreach.org/>, Trumbull County Voices of Youth Committee<http://www.trumbullmhrb.org/mhrb_youth.html>, and more
  *   A panel of new adults will share their experiences as "library teens" and their aspirations for the future
  *   A panel of seasoned teen services specialists will offer fast-paced troubleshooting
  *   Time for small group discussion and networking
  *   Lunch provided by Cockeye BBQ (vegan and gluten-free options available) and a special afternoon treat from Cockeye Creamery<https://www.cockeyecreamery.com/>

Registration for Take 5 is only $25/person, which includes morning refreshments, lunch, afternoon treat, and all materials and activities.

We bet you've never been to a library event with a keynote address from a community-building barbeque joint, or any kind of barbeque joint. You do not want to miss this.
