Voting is open through Friday, November 10 at www.bcbookaward.info<https://bcbookaward.info/>.

How can you participate?

  * Collect votes at your library or school. Librarians and teachers may collect student votes and submit them in bulk. Print bookmark ballots<https://bcbookaward.info/resources/> to make it easy to collect votes, then add them up and enter them here<https://bcbookaward.info/home/teachers-and-librarians-vote-now/>!
  * Set up a book display. Showcase current nominees and past winners<http://bcbookaward.info/childrens-previous-nominees/> in your spaces.
  * Promote the Buckeye Book Awards. Post on your social media, or create signage to encourage student votes. Download and print a poster featuring all the nominated titles<https://bcbookaward.info/resources/>.

Lists of the nominated titles in each grade band are on the poster and on the student and teacher/librarian ballots. All these titles were nominated exclusively by Ohio students.

Nominations are open year-round

Students can nominate books<https://bcbookaward.info/nominate/> for the Buckeye Book Awards at any time. Any 2022 or 2023 published book not part of a previous winning series is eligible for the 2024 awards. Librarians and teachers can collate and submit their students' nominations. The more nominations for a book, the higher its chances to make the final list.

About the Buckeye Book Awards

The Buckeye Children’s and Teen Book Awards, established in 1981, is Ohio’s readers’ choice award program for students in grades K-12. It is proudly sponsored by the Ohio Educational Library Media Association, Ohio Council of Teachers of English Language Arts, Ohio Library Council, the Kent State University School of Information, the Ohio Literacy Association, and the State Library of Ohio.

It's our student community, not adults, who make all the nominations and decide the winners. Let’s celebrate their creativity and choices!
