[SEO-Members] Getting Started with the Ohio Collections Analysis Initiative spring webinar

The next webinar is April 4th and will focus on Getting Started with the Ohio Collections Analysis Initiative.  During the 60-minute webinar, participants will walk through the State Library’s Collection Analysis Initiative, with an overview of the available resources to consider the children’s and young adult books in a library’s collections, programs, and displays.  Attendees will learn how to import data and use the tools to purposefully reflect, augment, compare, and determine which titles best fit their community’s needs. Attendees will receive a plan that both helps them implement their decisions and equips them to continue using these tools in future practices.

The Ohio Collection Analysis Initiative<https://library.ohio.gov/libraries/training-and-development/ohio-collections-analysis-initiative> launched in 2022 and gave Ohio library staff exclusive access to an original, self-paced, collection analysis initiative for considering collections that empower children and young adult readers by respecting and appreciating what makes them different and the same. This initiative provides the tools, time, and support to consider your library’s print collections for children and young adults.
