[SEO-Members] News from CSLP annual meeting: 2027 program slogan, 2028 theme, & 2025 artwork preview!

Greetings from the Collaborative Summer Library Program annual meeting! Today the CSLP state reps voted their states' choices for 2027 program slogan and 2028 program theme.

The slogan for the 2027 Mystery / Detective / Suspense-themed CSLP summer program will be Mysteries Await at Your Library.
The theme for the 2028 program will be Mythical Creatures.

Thank you for participating in the national theme and slogan polls and giving me direction for Ohio's vote at the CSLP annual meeting. 385 Ohio library workers completed the national survey for 2027 slogan and 340 completed the 2028 theme survey. While there was a wide diversity of opinions expressed in the surveys, Mythical Creatures was the Ohio statewide favorite by a wide margin and Mysteries Await at Your Library received the most combined 1st and 2nd choices from Ohio participants. So I'm pleased to say that we got our statewide 1st choice for both 2028 theme and 2027 slogan.

The CSLP state reps were also treated to a preview of the 2025 CSLP Color Our World<https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-ACGoerTL-ea0FyYf082k43DhKX1pqlk/view?usp=sharing> artwork by Mike Mullan.

In coming weeks, the Color Our World program manual will be released and the CSLP storefront will open.

I'm very excited to see how Ohio libraries "Color Our World" in 2025. CSLP themes, slogans, artwork, manuals, and all other CSLP resources reflect the creativity and feedback of library workers and summer library program planners like you.
