[SEO-Members] Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges Symposium: FREE hybrid professional learning event on June 20

The Kent State University iSchool, in collaboration with OELMA, presents Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges: DEIB Advocacy in the Era of Book Banning<https://www.oelma.org/Breaking-Barries>, a symposium for public librarians and library workers, school librarians, LIS students, and others invested in equity and intellectual freedom. During this symposium, attendees will learn more about handling book challenges, connect with other professionals, and get guidance on how to advocate for diverse materials for your young patrons.

The symposium will be held on Thursday, June 20 at NEOnet, 700 Graham Rd, Cuyahoga Falls and will be a hybrid event, with in-person, online, and pre-recorded content. The event is FREE and lunch is included.
