[SEO-PatronPoint] New Patron Point Training Options

You are receiving this e-mail as you have been designated as one of the Patron Point contacts for your library.

Patron Point offered training to a group of libraries this summer. If you were unable to attend this training or need a refresher, the SEO team wants to ensure your library has the skills to utilize the Patron Point marketing tools that are available at your disposal.

Since the initial training, SEO has made several changes to the interface to help provide a smooth experience in this shared environment. We would like to provide a live session to explain the benefits of Patron Point as well as demonstrate the interface.

Here's a brief rundown of what Patron Point offers:

Segmented Patron Lists
Your patrons with e-mail addresses are automatically brought into the Patron Point interface from WorkFlows. Each library will have a segment of all of their users. SEO staff can create additional segments to limit lists to branch locations, age groups, county, date since last activity, and much more.

Newsletters
The Patron Point software allows you to create newsletters using a drag-and-drop interface. Your newsletters are branded for your location and can be updated at any time. If you are already using a product for newsletters, the SEO team can import these uses to the Patron Point interface.

Campaigns
We like to call these the set-it-and-forget-it e-mails. SEO can set up campaigns when certain events trigger for a patron. Here are some examples that libraries are using:

  *   Welcome to the Library E-Mail<https://seooh-dy.patronpoint.com/email/preview/82> (this can be a single e-mail or a multi-day campaign highlighting the different services that your library offers)

  *   We Miss You E-Mail (patron has not used the library in X number of days)
  *   Coming of age<https://seooh-dy.patronpoint.com/email/preview/85> (patron turns 18 and now how more services available to them at the library)


Of course, if you think of another campaign, we can probably set it up for you. SEO will set up any of the backend stuff for campaigns. All you need to do is create the e-mail template. Once they are set up, they will run automatically without any staff intervention.

Due to the shared nature of the Patron Point interface in the consortium environment, we require users to attend either a group training session or a personalized training session before creating Patron Point accounts.
