[SEO-Updates] Announcement: New Phone System at SEO

Good afternoon,
We are pleased to announce that at 3:30 pm today, there was a complete migration of the SEO phone system to provide an overall better user experience when contacting SEO Team members for support. All phone numbers for contacting SEO will remain the same.
What's Different About the New Phone System?
This new system uses Voice-Over IP (VoIP) technology, which means that phones will work over an internet connection instead of legacy phone lines. This will allow the SEO Team to make and receive calls more seamlessly in the hybrid work environment utilized by the team.
Listed below are the menu options you will hear from the automated system.

  *   During regular Business Hours, 8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday
Thank you for calling the SEO Service Center.
If you know the extension of the team member you want to speak to, dial it now or press 6 for a dial-by-name directory.

*         For Symphony ILS options, press 1

        *   For Circulation, press 1
        *   For Cataloging and Serials, press 2
        *   For Reports & BCA, press 3
        *   For World Share or OCLC, press 4
        *   For Training, press 5
        *   To repeat this menu, press STAR

*         For IT and Symphony-related applications, press 2

*         For administration or billing questions, press 3

*         For Statewide Delivery, press 4

*         For all other questions, press 5

*         To repeat these options, press STAR



  *   Holiday Phone message
Thank you for calling the SEO Service Center.  We are currently closed in observance of the holiday.  Our normal hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.  We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
If Symphony Services are offline or unavailable, please press 1 at any time during this message to speak to our on-call manager.  You may press 2 to leave a message in the general voicemail, and we will return your call when our office reopens.  Thank you for calling.
