[OPLINLIST] What's New in WebJunction Ohio.... Now Mac users can learn MS Word!

It's true, WebJunction now has desktop application skills courses for
the Mac.  Seven new Word for Mac 2011 courses are now available at no
cost in the Ohio course catalog to WebJunction Ohio affiliated members.
Not a member?  See below. Over the next few months we'll have courses
covering the whole MS Office for Mac 2011 suite.

 

These are all one hour long, and aside from "Getting Started", they are
task-based topics to allow you to get right to learning the skills you
want without needing to wade through extra material. The courses
include:

 

*	Word for Mac 2011: Getting Started
*	Word for Mac 2011: Formatting and Working with Text
*	Word for Mac 2011: Structuring and Organizing Documents
*	Word for Mac 2011: Moving Around a Document
*	Word for Mac 2011: Creating and Formatting Images
*	Word for Mac 2011: Creating and Formatting Tables 
*	Word for Mac 2011: Saving, Printing and Spellchecking

WebJunction Ohio is paid for by the State Library of Ohio and affiliated
memberships are available to individuals at no cost. As of July 1, 2011
only WebJunction Ohio affiliated members working in a library or library
related non-profit organization, or museum in Ohio have access to this
catalog. You must be an Ohio affiliated member and be signed into
WebJunction Ohio with your username and password in order to view the
course catalog.

Go to http://oh.webjunction.org <http://oh.webjunction.org/>  to
register as an affiliated member of WebJunction Ohio. 

Request an Ohio affiliation when you first set up your WebJunction
account. 

Your affiliation request is submitted to the WebJunction Ohio
administrator. Once the administrator verifies that you are a work in a
library, library organization, or museum in Ohio, your request will be
approved and you will receive an email notification from WebJunction.
After receiving your notification, you must logout of WebJunction and
log back on WebJunction Ohio (http://oh.webjunction.org) and return to
the Course Catalog page 

Remember, as an affiliated member you can enroll in an unlimited number
