Mary Kay,

The Ohio Association of Foodbanks was selected as one if the "navigator" agencies for Ohio.  This organization has a presence in all 88 counties.  I think your local member is the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank.  That might be a place to start.  I will try to confirm this tomorrow when I am in the office.

I would like to know where in my county (Summit County) we can send our patrons to get help to register for insurance. I contacted my representative (Tim Ryan) and received no reply.  I contacted Sherrod Brown's office and one of his aides contacted me and told me to contact the Akron Community Resources.   Attempts to contact by e-mail have gone unanswered.   I will try tomorrow to call by phone to see if I get anywhere.

I am e-mailing the Oplin list to see if anyone else has been successful in compiling accurate and current information to give to patrons on or around October 1st.  Or, are you just as frustrated as I am ?

Any ideas, comments and suggestions are welcome!
