[OPLINLIST] OCLC ILL Services Transitions--Yes, it’s really happening, folks.

Earlier this year, OHIONET helped OCLC spread the word about the coming
changes to their ILL services.  Open migrations to the new WorldShare
Interlibrary Loan services began in March 2013, but the conclusion of the
migration timeline is right around the corner.  On November 25, 2013 users
of WorldCat Resource Sharing services will no longer be able to initiate
new requests, and on January 3, 2014 all access to WorldCat Resource
Sharing will end.  To assist our many members who are current users of
OCLC’s ILL services, OHIONET is again helping to reach out with the
resources and events you need.

Who will be affected by these changes?  All libraries currently using
WorldCat Resource Sharing services will need to make changes to their
workflows.  Please note, however, that institutions using ILLiad and Clio
will not be required to make any changes at this time.

 While change is often challenging, OCLC has created many free, web-based
resources to provide information and support to their ILL services
subscribers during this time of transition.
