Apologies for cross-postings
There's a new article in the Public Libraries Briefcase, an online publication of the BRASS Business Reference in Public Libraries Committee. No. 30, 2nd Quarter 2014 is entitled "Best Practices of Adult Financial Literacy in a Large Public Library System" by Melissa Jeter, Adult Services Librarian at the Heatherdowns Branch of the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library.

The article details six best practices of developing programs and partnerships in the challenging area of financial literacy. Something that needs more than one week a year to deal with! Melissa provides insights based on her first hand experience developing these programs over the years, which were recognized recently with a grant from the FINRA Investor Education Foundation. Links to that organization as well as to her showcase "Living Better Spending Smarter" web site are included.
