[OPLINLIST] Deadline extended to submit applications for the next round of the Ohio LSTA Television White Space (TVWS) Grants

The State Library of Ohio has extended the deadline for Round Two applications for the Television White Space (TVWS) Grants.   The proposals now are due on August 15, 2016.

Project costs should not exceed $14,000 for most Ohio public libraries.  Applicants may request up to $10,500 in federal funds and all projects must include a 25% local cash match of the total project cost.  If an applicant applies for the full $10,500 their local match must be $3,500.


Grant proposals received by August 15, 2016 will be taken to the State Library of Ohio Board on September 15, 2016. Approved projects will run from October 1, 2016-September 30, 2017.


A total proposal package must be submitted electronically to lsta at library.ohio.gov<mailto:lsta at library.ohio.gov>.  Information on the TVWS grant program can be found at:  https://library.ohio.gov/services-for-libraries/lsta-grants/. The Request for Proposal is located under the "Available Grants "tab and other application materials are located under the "Apply" tab.
