Dear colleagues,

With many libraries incorporating wellness/nutrition activities, community-building, and film screenings into their summer programming and throughout the year, Groundswell Educational Films is reaching out to libraries with its documentary film and advocacy campaign Food Patriots, which explores the consumer movement toward healthier food choices.

According to the filmmakers, many librarians are using Food Patriots to raise awareness about local food, farmers markets, community gardens and healthy choices in general.  The film has screened at more than 100 libraries from California to Connecticut.
