[OPLINLIST] Help Garnet A. Wilson win $25K for building fund

Hello, fellow library people!

The Garnet A. Wilson Public Library is currently engaged in a capital 
campaign to raise the funds to build a new main library facility.  Our 
current building has been a horse livery, a chicken hatchery, a feed 
store, and the town's first Kroger, but was never intended to be a 
library!  We have limited, difficult parking, three poorly-accessible 
floors, and limited space for collections and to serve our patrons.  We 
have made this space work well for many years, but our community needs 
something more inviting, more accessible, with meeting rooms, more space 
for the collection, and individual spaces for all age groups.

We are excited to have been selected by the State Farm Neighborhood 
Assist Program as a finalist for a $25,000 grant which will fund an 
outdoor play/relaxation area just outside of our new children's area.  
We have no green space at our current facility, and this would be a 
dream come true for the patrons in our community.

We would like to ask for your help in achieving this goal.  We need to 
make it to the Top 40 out of 200 organizations that were selected to win 
the grant, and the selection is strictly based on community voting.
