[OPLINTECH] Lapel Microphone Static

We just installed a new sound system and we have new lapel microphones to
go with it.   The first time we used them there seemed to be a lot of
buzzing/electronic popping coming through the mics as people were moving
around in their chairs, so I’m assuming it was static electricity.****

Has anyone else experienced this?  Do you have any hints or tips for
dealing with it?
