[OPLINTECH] Networking issue

Okay I'm not sure how to even search for info on this issues so I'll just spell out the setup and let you all decide what I should try.

I had a Windows 2008 domain (dc1 & dc2) running DNS, DHCP, & WINS.
Our domain has 4 locations (Library, the Main & 3 branches). The network is a wide area LAN using fiber to connect the branches to the main directly. There is another fiber connection at the main that connects to the net. All internet access goes through my firewall at the Main Branch. All is good.

I built a new Windows 2012 domain (mc1 & mc2) running DNS & DHCP (no WINS). I started moving computers to the new domain 1 at a time. All is good. I finally get them all done. I disjoin one of the 2008 servers from the domain and added it to the new as a member server. The other one I shutdown. Just in case there are problems. All seems fine.

Fast forward to yesterday (while I was in the Dentist's chair, always seems to be that way doesn't it) I get a text that the net was down at the 3 branches but the Main was fine. I assumed that it was the fiber connection 1st, Nope, I can RDP into any of the computers at the branches from the main. The LAN is fine. I restarted the old DC1, no go. The IP, gateway, DNS, & netmask are all identical to the settings on the Main locations computers (the ones that have internet access). The ONLY thing I have found is that the branches all have WINS server information from the old domain. I can't find it on the 2012 domain. 

Any suggestions would be helpful.
