Doug Boyd, Ph.D. is the Director of the Louie B. Nunn Center for Oral
History at the University of Kentucky Libraries. Previously, he managed the
Digital Program for the University of Alabama Libraries, served as the
Director of the Kentucky Oral History Commission and prior to that as the
Senior Archivist for the oral history collections at the Kentucky
Historical Society. Boyd specializes in the digital technologies associated
with the collection, preservation, and digital publication of oral
histories. Recently, Boyd designed the Civil Rights in Kentucky Oral
History Project Digital Media Database for the Kentucky Historical Society,
and co-authored with Henry Glassie the audio CD accompanying Glassie's
latest book The Stars of Ballymenone published by Indiana University Press.
Boyd's interests are not limited to the technological applications of oral
history but include the intellectual components as well. He has recently
submitted, for publication, a completed book manuscript which focuses on
the dynamics between oral history and public memory.

Jennifer Gregory received her MLS from the University of Kentucky. She has
worked in nearly every area of library operations including reference,
cataloging, special collections, IT, and administration in both public and
academic libraries. She is currently the Virtual Services Librarian at
Boone County Public Library, where she manages two consortial groups for
Kentucky, one for virtual reference and the other for downloadable digital
materials.

Sarah Milligan has been the program administrator for the Kentucky Oral
History Commission of the Kentucky Historical Society since 2007. She holds
an M.A. in Folk Studies from Western Kentucky University and an
undergraduate degree in English and German from Oklahoma City University.
As the program administrator for the Commission, Milligan manages the
granting programs, conducts statewide workshops on conducting oral history
as well as offering technical assistance to oral history collection holders
around the state. Before joining the Commission, Milligan worked as a
folklife specialist for the Kentucky Folklife Program, an interagency of
the Kentucky Historical Society and the Kentucky Arts Council.
