PRESENTATION: "In Collaboration: Faculty Experiences Building DH Projects with Librarians"
Collaboration characterizes the digital humanities, and given the aims of many DH projects, librarians, archivists, and special collections curators often prove invaluable collaborators. This panel presents the faculty perspective of such collaborations. Panelists will provide an overview of their projects and discuss their collaborations with library professionals (e.g. when in the project lifecycle faculty made contact, what specifically they consulted about, what invaluable contributions the library/library staff made, what they learned about library resources/librarians' skillsets as a result).
